Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the minimum equipment needed?
A: A semi-automatic pistol or revolver, 9mm or .355 caliber or larger,
belt holster, magazines or speed loaders (between 4 to 6), belt pouches
to hold magazines or speed loaders, 150 rounds of ammo, eye and ear
protection.
Don't forget comfort items like water, sun screen and snacks.

Q: How old do you have to be?
A: We do not have an age limit for any shooter. All shooters must be
safe and responsible. If your youngster can safely handle and shoot,
bring them to match and let's see if they are interested. Several of the
Range Officers are willing to work with shooters outside of a match
setting. Send us a message (see the contacts) and we will set something
up. We have both Juniors and Super Seniors at our matches.
Q: Is membership required to shoot?
A: You do not have to be a member of USPSA or BORCC to shoot in our
matches. If you live close to BORCC please consider joining the club.
USPSA membership may be purchased online at
www.uspsa.org.
Q: How can I help with the matches?
A: We can always use help setting up matches. Generally, matches are
setup on the Saturday before the match, starting at 9:00 AM. Shooters
interested in becoming a Range Officer should start with the National
Range Officers Institute web site,
www.nroi.org.
